DIKSHa

DBF, in partnership with National Skill Development Council (NSDC) has set up 5 Dalmia Institute of Knowledge and Skill Harnessing (DIKSHa) centers. The 3 training centres in Odisha are being operated in partnership with OSDA (Odisha Skill Development Authority).

These centers provide courses of 3-6 months duration in a variety of vocational streams like Home Health Aides, Retail Sales Associate and Sewing Machine Operators and Beauty & Wellness.

DBF mobilizes youth from local communities, identifies and enroll candidates for training after counselling them.

After successful completion of training, all candidates are provided with relevant job offers and placements in commercial establishments. Besides direct placements, entrepreneurship support is also extended to the trainees to set up their own small micro ventures, thus providing further employment to others as well. We have a success rate of 80% job and business placement for our trainees.
